School Meals

Please note, dinner money is £2.30 per day, which is £11.50 per week.

Please click here to find out how much money is due per term.

Children are not allowed to bring snacks or drinks to school for break times. Milk or water is provided by school (a contribution towards the cost of milk is required).

We have our own kitchen on the premises which provides hot meals for the children. If you wish, your child may bring a packed lunch. Children may bring water or flavoured water to school. We also provide water, or juice which may be bought for 10p a cup. (Profits go into school funds). We discourage transfer from school meals to packed lunches at short notice. Any changes must please be made at half term or main holidays by the parent / carer via the school office.

School meals cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week). Payment must be made on Monday mornings each week, or the first day back after a holiday. Exact money should be sent in a sealed envelope marked with your child’s name, class and what the money is for. We can only accept cheques (made payable to Bury MBC) for a minimum of 4 weeks at a time. This is due to the considerable amount of extra administration time that the processing of cheques involves. Many of our parents now prefer to pay at the beginning of each half term for the whole of that half term.

To pay for your child's meal online through Bury Council, please go online to:

Please note that in order to be able to pay online, you will need your child's UPN number. Please contact the school office to get your number.

The Government has introduced a scheme that entitles all reception, year 1 and year 2 school pupils in England to have free school meals.  This is to encourage a balanced diet from an early age and help children be as healthy as possible.

Even though your child is in the infants and you would qualify for free school meals anyway through one of the qualifying benefits, please make sure you STILL register with the Free School Meals Team.  This ensures the school can still claim pupil premium funding.
