School Meals

Taylor Shaw is the new school meal provider across the Trust. They are one of the UK’s leading specialist caterers in schools. They pride themselves on providing freshly prepared food that contributes to the wellbeing of young people in their learning environment.

Ordering

Ordering of school meals is now available on LunchHound.

If you have not already done so, please register your details with LunchHound using the instructions below so that you can pre-order for your child. You will need to use the email address that you have provided for school communications.

LunchHound Online Booking Service - Parents Guide

Parents can place orders online until 8.30am on the day of the meal. If your child is absent from school, you must cancel their meal order on LunchHound. If you do not cancel the meal, your account will be charged.

Payment

For children who pay for their school meals, it is £2.30 a meal.

If you usually pay for school meals for your child, you must top-up their school meals account on ParentPay before you are able to order on LunchHound. You will be unable to order on LunchHound until there is credit on your child's school meals account on ParentPay.

Children in receipt of benefits-related free school meals and children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 who currently receive universal free school meals do not have to credit their ParentPay account and should simply place their orders on LunchHound.

Allergies

If your child requires a medical diet due to a food allergy, food intolerance or a medical condition that requires an adapted menu (e.g. carbohydrate count for Type 1 Diabetes), please follow this link to request a medical diet: https://orders.lunchhound.co.uk/medicaldiets/request For further support, please refer to the Parent User Guide.

If you have any problems with LunchHound or ParentPay, please contact the school office.

UNIVERSAL FREE SCHOOL MEALS

The Government has introduced a scheme that entitles all reception, year 1 and year 2 school pupils in England to have free school meals.  This is to encourage a balanced diet from an early age and help children be as healthy as possible.

Even though your child is in the infants and you would qualify for free school meals anyway through one of the qualifying benefits, please make sure you STILL register with the Free School Meals Team.  This ensures the school can still claim pupil premium funding.
