Positive Behaviour Support
Our approach to supporting behaviour that challenges is positive – we aim to understand that behaviour is a communication of a child's unmet need. We apply restorative and relational approaches, using de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies.
We work closely with other professionals using an outreach/in-reach model. We ensure positive relationships are formed with placing schools and families to ensure a well-rounded package of support so that their child can become a confident, sociable and independent learner.
